Two of my favorite underused features in InDesign are the Go Back and Go Forward commands (hiding under the Layout menu, even though they should be under the View menu).
Let’s say you’re in the middle of your document and you decide to jump to a master page. Now, you want to return to the page you were last on. Choose Go Back! (Faster, press Command/Ctrl-Page Up).
It’s like navigating back through pages you’ve seen in a Web browser. Then you can choose Go Forward (Command/Ctrl-Page Down) to navigate forward again.
