QuarkXPress 7 at the end of year?

Quark Inc.’s XPress series is set to release version 7 at the end of this year or very early in the next. Probably this is because they are feeling the influence from Adobe’s InDesign, and it’s revamping it’s image an promising to implement changes demanded by it’s many users. As Indesign has many new feauters we all hope to see them implemented in new Quark 7. The main new feature Quark is pushing with version 7 is improved collaboration functionality. Few users can now work on the same page at the sam time. New is also Job Jackets implementations which give a project consisten specification. They are based on Job Definition Format, which embeds the job information into quark file to ensure every step along job process conforms preflighting. Read more here.
