[...] Adobe reinvented the steel. This is the first time I saw that AdobeLabs has invented something very similar or should I say the same thing as someone else. AdobeLabs started a web service in flash named really innovative: kuler. Kuler is a web service for colour enthusiats, people who like to browse colors, put them together, make palletes, and such stuff. Kuler is really good service, but it’s been invented before Adobe launched it. You may have seen post about ColourLovers.com here, if you look at the website ColourLovers.com you will notice a similarity between this two services. Now the bright side of this “kuler” service. It’s really impressive and clean designed, flash is working flawless, but version of flash 9 is required. Kuler offers choosing of colors in many rules as: Analogous, Monochromatic, Triad, Complementary, Compound, Shades and Custom. Each color can contain name, and tags decribing it. Then, below each color, there is it’s HSB, RGB, CMYK, LAB and HEX values, wich you can edit manualy by entering numbers for each value. or you can choose color mixing mode like CMYK, and move it’s representative sliders. Really innovative and impressive use of flash, for really usefull service. Well it’s up to you for what you will use this service, graphic, web or some other design. [...]
